Question: I have the Hagerty SILVER & JEWEL CLOTH which states not to wash it. However, after the jewellery cleaning I have found that the cloth is quite black. How do I get the cloth clean so that I can use it again?
Answer: Since Hagerty SILVER & JEWEL CLOTH is impregnated with several ingredients you may not wash it, neither by hand nor in the washing machine or it will loose its efficiency. If the Cloth has dark spots from removed tarnish it will still do the cleaning job where it has not been used. Once it is black all over, we recommend you to get a new one from your nearest Hagerty stockist.
